In the early morning hours we will depart from various places in Slovenia towards Italy. During the journey we will make a stop for morning coffee and continue driving past Padua all the way to Verona, where we will arrive in the forenoon. Upon arrival, a tour of Verona, the fairy-tale city of romance, charm and lovers. We will walk through the old town center, see Piazza Bra with its famous Roman arena, peek where Juliet’s balcony is located, see Piazza delle Erbe with the traditional market, Piazza dei Signori and the tomb of the former rulers the Scaligeri. We will conclude the walk at the pre-Christmas market, which hosts numerous stalls and where we can warm up with a glass of mulled wine or tea. Free time for independent sightseeing and shopping until departure. In the late afternoon we will head back home, where we will arrive in the night hours.

A FRIENDLY TIP: Juliet’s balcony – advance reservation
For visiting Juliet’s House and the famous Juliet’s balcony in Verona an advance online reservation is required. The number of visitors is limited.
Tickets can be reserved on the official website of the Verona Civic Museums: Official online reservation – Casa di Giulietta
When booking, choose the ticket for Casa di Giulietta / Juliet’s House, which also includes access to the balcony. We recommend that you arrange the reservation in your free time between 15:00 and 17:00.
IMPORTANT: We reserve the right to reverse the order of pick-ups and the execution of the excursion, provided that the content of the programme is not diminished. Departures from each departure point are guaranteed with a minimum of 15 registered persons. Final notice of departure for one-day excursions will be sent 3 days before departure.
