Program of the trip
Trip highlights:

Trip program:
Day 1: SLOVENIA–BRATISLAVA (overnight)
Departure from Ljubljana from the parking lot at Dolgi most at 06:00. Bus drive with possible boarding via Celje and Maribor into Austria, then past Vienna toward Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. On the bus city tour we will see the Presidential Palace and ascend the nicely renovated castle hill. This will be followed by a walk through the streets of the historic center. We will see remnants of the city walls, the city gates, Mozart's and Liszt's houses and the palace of the Keglevic family, which, among others, Beethoven liked to visit. In the afternoon we will have some free time which can be used to sample Slovak delicacies or for small pre-Christmas purchases at the stalls. Late afternoon accommodation at a hotel in the city or surroundings. In the evening we recommend (extra charge) a typical dinner in a Slovak pub. Overnight.
Day 2: BRATISLAVA–VIENNA–SLOVENIA (breakfast)
After breakfast we drive toward Vienna, whose pre-Christmas season each time puts on a magical appearance. We will begin the sightseeing of the beautiful city in front of the unusual Hundertwasser House, we will see Karlskirche, walk past the opera, along Kärntner Straße, past the Capuchin Church to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg, the Burgtheater, the new town hall, the Parliament and the Natural History and Art-History Museum. Of course we will also stop at the stalls, where we will have free time for Christmas-New Year shopping, tasting the famous Sacher cake or for a snack on the street. Late afternoon return via Graz and Maribor and Celje to Ljubljana, where arrival is expected in the late evening hours.
