THE GRAND RESORT

LOCATION: The hotel with 828 rooms is built in Moorish style. It is separated from its sister hotel THE GRAND HOTEL by a road and the GRAND MALL, which complements the hotel offer with various restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and entertainment options. The beach, also used by guests of THE GRAND HOTEL, is about 250 metres away. The centre of Hurghada is about 10 kilometres away. Transfer time from the airport is approximately 20 minutes.

FACILITIES: In the tastefully furnished reception area there is a reception desk, a guest information point and a bar open 24 hours a day (for a fee). The property has two main restaurants, three à la carte restaurants, five additional restaurants in the Grand Mall complex and various bars. The hotel has a well-equipped conference area. The attractive pool area includes three freshwater pools and two children's pools, of which one large and one children's pool are heated in winter. Around the pool complex there are sun terraces, two snack bars, a restaurant and the Pergola bar. Tea and coffee are served in the "Club Orange". At the pool and on the beach of THE GRAND HOTEL there are free sunshades, sunbeds and mattresses. In the adjacent GRAND MALL arcade, in addition to restaurants, there is an internet café, billiards and a mini market (all for a fee).

ROOMS: All rooms are comfortably equipped with a shower, WC, hairdryer, mini fridge, satellite TV, telephone, safe, air conditioning (seasonally operated) and have a balcony or terrace. Standard room (DSB) faces the interior (rear side of the hotel), overlooking the road. Deluxe room (DZX) is equipped the same as the standard room and offers a view of the pool or garden. Junior suite (DZJ/EZJ) is larger and offers a view of the pool or garden. Grand suite (DSD) has a living area and bedroom separated by a door or visually separated. Family room (FZ3/FZ4/FZ5), in addition to the standard equipment, offers an extra bedroom separated by connecting doors. When booking a standard room, deluxe room, junior or grand suite (2 adults and up to 2 children or 3 adults): double bed and extra beds.

SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT: During the day international animation, pool games, table tennis and evening shows. In the Grand Mall massages and billiards for a fee. At THE GRAND HOTEL for a fee: sauna, jacuzzi, fitness centre, hard court tennis courts with lighting, Euro Divers diving school.

ALL INCLUSIVE: The hotel offers an all inclusive service with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, various snacks and local non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks between 10:00 and 24:00 (served in glasses).

FOOD AND DRINK: Breakfast selection: rich buffet breakfast in the Marrakesh and Mahara restaurants. The Marrakesh restaurant also offers the possibility of a late breakfast. Lunch offer: buffet with a variety of dishes in the Mahara restaurant. Pasta and pizza are served in the Nigma restaurant. Dinner: international buffet dinner in the Mahara and Marrakesh restaurants. Served oriental dishes in the Nigma restaurant (with reservation).

Opening hours between 18:00 and 21:00. Table reservation required at the hotel reception between 10:00 and 20:00. In the Grand Mall restaurants all drinks and some dishes are for a supplement. At the Blue Horizon bar on the beach drinks are free, food for a fee.
