GRAND MAKADI

LOCATION: The hotel is located 30 kilometres south of Hurghada, on a private beach with a coral reef. A promenade along the beach passes nearby RED SEA HOTELS - MAKADI PALACE, MAKADI SPA and GRAND WATERWORLD MAKADI. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty (75 m) that reaches the coral reef (water shoes recommended) or via a sandy entry (depending on tides). The airport is approximately a 35-minute drive away.

FACILITIES: Unique architecture and harmonious colours create a special atmosphere. The hotel complex consists of several interconnected buildings and offers accommodation in 302 rooms. The hotel features a reception area with front desk (free internet access), a buffet restaurant, four à la carte restaurants (offering culinary variety with international dishes, Italian specialties, light lunches and oriental treats), a lobby bar, a shop and a bar overlooking a beautiful garden. The lobby bar and room service are available 24 hours for an additional charge. In the well-kept garden there is a freshwater pool (heated in winter) and sun terraces. Free use of sunbeds, umbrellas and mats by the pools and on the beach. Bath towels are provided in the room free of charge.

ROOMS:

Deluxe Room (DZX/EZX) has a shower, WC, hairdryer, mini fridge, satellite TV, telephone, safe, air conditioning (seasonal) and a balcony. Junior Suite (DZJ/EZJ) is equally equipped but more spacious and includes a seating area. Family Room (FZ3/FZ4/FZ5) is equipped the same as the deluxe room and has an additional bedroom. For occupancy of three or more persons the room has a double bed and extra beds.

SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT: Beach volleyball, aerobics, water gymnastics, water polo, sports activities. Daily entertainment programme and live music in the evenings. For a charge: six floodlit and unlit tennis courts, football and a fitness centre in Makadi Mall. Diving centre at the end of the promenade.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Breakfast selection: a rich assortment of international dishes in the Lagoon restaurant, Italian breakfast and early breakfast in the Leonardo restaurant. Lunch offerings: buffet with international dishes and grill items in the Lagoon restaurant. Leonardo restaurant offers Italian specialties. Grill snacks are available at Merimaid and Starfish restaurants. Dinner: international buffet dinner in the Lagoon restaurant.
