ITNERARY
The group departs in the morning from an agreed departure point and travels towards Lika. Our first stop is SMILJAN, where we visit the Nikola Tesla Memorial Centre. Visitors will learn about the life and work of the famous world-renowned inventor Nikola Tesla, visit the Demonstration Centre and explore the museum collection. The visit is accompanied by an expert guide. After the visit, enjoy some free time to browse for souvenirs, have a coffee and relax before continuing our journey to GOSPIĆ. In Gospić, we meet our licensed local guide and set off on a guided walking tour of the city. We explore the city centre, the monument to Croatian linguists, the park and other landmarks, while discovering the stories of the two noblewomen who once lived in the city and learning how Gospić got its name. We then arrive at a beautiful central square, where Vila Velebita awaits you for a memorable photo. After the city tour, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by some free time to explore Gospić at your own pace. From Gospić, our journey continues to OPG Stilan, a local family farm. Here, we will enjoy a tasting of traditional Croatian rakija, liqueurs and homemade products. A wonderful setting, a warm local atmosphere and delicious traditional specialities await us. And somewhere among it all, you may even meet a true Ličanin, who will share his own story with you… In the evening, we begin our journey back to the original departure point.
