ITINERARY
The group departs in the morning from an agreed departure point and travels towards the Velebit Nature Park. Our first experience of the day is a walk along the historic Terezijana Trail, part of the old Austro-Hungarian road built in the 18th century. This picturesque trail takes us back in time while offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the magnificent nature of Velebit. The walk is approximately 1.5 hours and is suitable for anyone who enjoys a pleasant walk in nature. After our walk, we continue to the Vegium Cheese Factory, where you will have the opportunity to discover and purchase locally produced Croatian cheeses. We then continue our journey to Gospić. In Gospić, we meet our licensed local guide and set off on a walking tour of the city. We explore the city centre, the monument to Croatian linguists, the city park and other landmarks. Along the way, we discover the fascinating story of the two noblewomen who once lived in Gospić and learn how the city got its name. Our walk takes us to a beautiful central square, where Vila Velebita awaits us for a memorable photo. After the city tour, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by some free time to explore Gospić at your own pace. From Gospić, our journey continues to OPG Stilan, a local family farm. Here, we will enjoy a tasting of traditional rakija, liqueurs and homemade local products, surrounded by a beautiful setting, warm atmosphere and delicious local specialities. And somewhere among it all, a true Ličanin is waiting to share his story with you... After spending time with our friendly hosts, we begin our journey back to the original departure point, arriving in the evening.
