ITINERARY

The group departs in the morning from an agreed departure point and travels by coach towards the Lika region. Our first stop is SINAC, where we visit the springs of the Gacka River and Majerovo Vrilo. This beautiful location on the river is home to traditional old watermills, remarkable for their picturesque setting and authentic appearance. We will explore the watermills and see a demonstration of how they once operated – how grain was traditionally turned into flour and how people used to live and work in this part of Lika. There will also be an opportunity to purchase locally produced flour. Our journey then continues to GOSPIĆ. In Gospić, we meet our licensed local guide and set off on a walking tour of the city. We explore the city centre, the monument to Croatian linguists, the park and other landmarks, while discovering what two noblewomen once did in this city and learning how Gospić got its name. We then arrive at a beautiful central square, where Vila Velebita awaits us for a memorable photo. After the city tour, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a short break. From Gospić, our journey continues to OPG Stilan, a local family farm. Here, we will enjoy a tasting of traditional rakija, liqueurs and homemade local products, surrounded by an exceptional setting, warm atmosphere and delicious local specialities. But the experience doesn't end with the tasting… A true Ličanin will be waiting for us to sing a traditional Lika song together – and, of course, to get everyone on their feet for a dance! After spending time with our friendly hosts, we begin our journey back to the original departure point, arriving in the evening.
