ITINERARY
The group departs in the morning from an agreed departure point and travels by coach towards the Lika region. Our first stop is Grabovača Cave Park, where we visit Samograd Cave. The cave features around 500 carved steps, and we explore it accompanied by an expert guide. After the cave tour, enjoy some free time for a photo stop with our friendly bat, or take a moment to explore the scents and plants in the Botanical Garden. We then continue our journey towards Gospić, where lunch awaits us at a local restaurant, followed by some time to relax after the meal. Our journey continues to the Cerovačke Caves, one of Croatia's most significant sites associated with the cave bear. Accompanied by an expert guide, we explore the Lower and Upper Caves and discover the fascinating traces left behind by prehistoric cave bears. One of the most interesting features is that you can still see marks on the cave walls created by bears rubbing and moving along the rock surfaces. After the tour, enjoy some free time before we begin our journey back to the original departure point. We arrive back in the evening.
