1. ZAGREB – PARIS – MARRAKECH

Meeting of passengers at Zagreb airport two hours before the flight. Departure for Paris at 16:50 on flight AF1561 (Air France), arrival in Paris at 19:00. Continue to Marrakech at 21:10 on flight AF1776 (Air France). Arrival in Marrakech at 23:30. After border formalities, transfer to the hotel. Check-in and accommodation. Overnight stay.

2. MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for Casablanca, the country's main economic and financial centre. Visit the magnificent modern Hassan II Mosque, the city's greatest attraction which can hold over 20,000 worshippers in the prayer hall (view from the outside), and other city sights accompanied by a local guide: Mohammed V Square and United Nations Square, the central market, the Habous quarter (Casablanca medina), the residential Anfa district and the Ain Diab - Anfa promenade along the beaches. Lunch in a local restaurant (extra charge). In the afternoon check-in and accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

3. CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – FES

Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. We depart for the royal city of Rabat, which today is the main political and administrative centre of Morocco. Upon arrival we will tour the Moroccan capital whose old part is surrounded by walls along the coast, with the traditional medina at its center. In addition to the old town we will visit the Oudaya Kasbah from the 17th century, Hassan Tower from the 12th century which was intended to be part of the unfinished mosque of Yaqub al-Mansur, the white marble pavilion crowned with green tiles in the mausoleum of the Moroccan sultan and king Mohammed V, who is credited with the country's independence, and the courtyard and outer part of the Royal Palace (Mechouar). After the tour we continue to the city of Meknes, a city surrounded by triple walls about 40 km long. Due to extensive restoration work that began in 2019 in the old core of Meknes, i.e. the old medina which is part of the UNESCO heritage, unfortunately it is not possible to see the most important city attractions such as the city gate Bab Mansour, a monumental building of exceptionally fascinating proportions often called the most beautiful gate in North Africa, and the Royal stables of Moulay Ismail, so we will make a panoramic stopover view of the city. Continue driving to Fes, the second largest city in Morocco and one of the four "imperial cities" of Morocco alongside Rabat, Marrakech and Meknes. Upon arrival in Fes, check-in and accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4. FES

After breakfast, a city tour follows. Fes is the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca and one of the four "imperial cities" of Morocco alongside Rabat, Marrakech and Meknes. It was founded by Moulay Idriss during the 8th century and in the past was the capital of several dynasties. It consists of three parts: the Medina of Fes, Fes-Jdid and Ville Nouvelle (New Town). Visit the Karaouine mosque and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss (from the outside), and a visit to a leather tannery. Then enter the medieval medina Fes el Bali through the Bab Boujloud gate, walk the noisy, colorful alleys of the souk - the market where on every corner there are hanging carpets, leather crafts, traditional and modern jewelry, spices, plants, oils… Visit the Medersa Attarine university, continue the walk to the Nejjarine Square with its namesake fountain. Free time for lunch in a local restaurant (extra charge). In the afternoon visit Fes-Jdid, one of the three old urban cores within Fes, also called "new Fes" or "white Fes". Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5. FES – MARRAKECH

Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. We head to Marrakech, the heart of exotic Morocco. Situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is a city that enchants with the colors, scents and sounds of the Orient. This vibrant jewel, known as the "Red City", exudes history and the spirit of old times while pulsating with modern energy. The city was founded by the Almoravid dynasty in the 11th century. Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

6. MARRAKECH

After breakfast, depart for a city tour of the most important sights of the "pearl of the south" as Marrakech is popularly called. The most striking is the old part of the city – the medina, which due to its attractiveness and significance is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, and it is in that labyrinth of small streets that all the charm and beauty of this city is woven. We will visit among others the beautiful El Bahia Palace, a complex containing numerous buildings, pavilions and gardens, with especially impressive luxurious marble floors and painted walls. Then the Koutoubia Mosque with its minaret as high as 77 meters, which is often featured on the city's postcards; the Bahia Palace, the Menara gardens with a graceful summer pavilion whose outlines are reflected in the sparkling water of an artificial lake, surrounded by spacious gardens planted with olive trees. Lunch in a local restaurant (extra charge). In the afternoon we will visit the main city square Jemaa el-Fna, which teems with life and unusual sights, and is also the place where you can try many Moroccan delicacies, as each evening the square turns into the largest open-air restaurant. Here you will encounter snake charmers and monkeys, jugglers, acrobats, male dancers, colorfully dressed vendors and oriental storytellers. Next to the square is a large market – the souk, where you can buy literally everything, and haggling is indispensable. Marrakech has the largest covered markets in Morocco offering various known and unknown spices, items and leather clothing, colorful traditional lamps and numerous handicrafts. Return to the hotel and dinner. For an extra charge, we suggest an evening trip to the folkloric Fantasia show with dinner at the Chez Ali restaurant. Overnight.

Climate: Northern Morocco has a Mediterranean climate, the interior is steppe climate. In the far south the climate is desert. The most pleasant periods of the year to visit Morocco are October to December and March to May when average air temperature is around 24°C. In summer the average air temperature in Marrakech and Fes is around 38°C. In coastal cities such as Casablanca, Rabat and Tangier, although with somewhat higher humidity, temperatures range from 27 to 29°C.
